EAO Philosophy

Our governance model is a multi-stage system that combines democratic idea generation with expert filtration. We aim to avoid both the chaos of complete anarchy and the dictatorship of a centralized team. Our system consists of four key elements:

  • The Community (in the "Sandbox"): Serves as the primary source of new ideas. Here, the voting power of each participant is equal, ensuring a level playing field for all.

  • The AI & Manifesto: An automated guardian that checks ideas that have passed the initial vote for compliance with the project's core principles, values, and security.

  • The Core Team: Acts as an expert council that assesses filtered ideas for technical and financial feasibility, after which they prepare them for a final vote.

  • The EAO (Token Holders): The key advisory body that makes the final, binding decision on all proposals that have passed expert review, using their accumulated Voting Power.

The EAO's Economic Model: An Example in Numbers To prove the resilience of our system, let's consider a hypothetical scenario. The Cost of "Soft Influence" (Staking, 1-10 VP): The number of tokens required for staking (temporary lock) is calculated by the formula: Tokens = (Voting Power)² * 1000.

Desired Voting Power (VP)
$QRISM to Stake

2 VP

4,000

5 VP

25,000

10 VP (Maximum)

100,000

The Cost of "Hard Influence" (Burning, 11+ VP): To acquire more than 10 VP, a user must burn tokens non-refundably, calculated by the formula: Cost of Nth vote = N² * 1000. For example, the 11th vote would cost 121,000 $QRISM.

Proof of Philosophy: This system makes it economically irrational for a single actor to attempt to dominate the collective will of an active and engaged community. It is cheaper for the community to defend its interests than it is for an attacker to attack.

Defense Against Collusion: A Multi-layered Security System We recognize that no economic model alone can completely protect against coordinated collusion. Therefore, our governance system is designed with a layered defense:

  • Economic Layer: Quadratic Voting makes a brute-force attack on the system extremely expensive and irrational.

  • Normative Layer: The Project Manifesto and the AI Guardian act as a second, more critical line of defense. Even if a malicious proposal is pushed through the initial Sandbox vote by a colluding group, it will be automatically rejected by the AI if it contradicts the fundamental values, security, or long-term vision of Qrism.space as outlined in the Manifesto
